# Install on your phone

> Add Clarely to your home screen for instant access on the job.

Clarely is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You don't install it from the App Store or Google Play — you add it directly from your browser. It runs like a native app with its own icon, full-screen view, and fast load times.

## iPhone and iPad (Safari)

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Clarely in Safari">
    Go to [clarely.app](https://clarely.app) in Safari. It must be Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS don't support PWA install.

  <Step title="Tap the Share button">
    Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Add to Home Screen">
    Scroll down in the share sheet and tap **Add to Home Screen**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Tap **Add** in the top right. Clarely appears on your home screen immediately.

## Android (Chrome)

    Go to [clarely.app](https://clarely.app) in Chrome.

  <Step title="Tap the menu">
    Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Add to Home screen">
    Tap **Add to Home screen** from the menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Tap **Add**. Clarely appears on your home screen.

  If you don't see the Add to Home Screen option, make sure you're signed in to Clarely first, then try again.

## Why install it?

Installing puts Clarely one tap away when you're on a job site. The full-screen view removes browser chrome so you have more space to work. You'll also see push notifications for client signatures the moment they happen.
