Your business settings control what clients see on quotes and invoices. Set these up before sending your first quote.

Accessing business settings

Go to Account → Settings → Business.

Business information

Business name — appears on every quote, invoice, and email sent from Clarely. Use the name your clients recognize. Business slug — the URL identifier for your staff portal. Your team members log in at clarely.app/your-slug. Keep it short and recognizable. Changing this changes your staff portal URL, so update your team if you do. Contact email — the reply-to email on client-facing emails from Clarely. Make sure this is a monitored inbox. Phone number — displayed on quotes and invoices as a contact option for clients. Business address — your primary business address. Appears on invoices for billing reference. Logo — upload your business logo to display on quotes and invoices. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG. Recommended size: at least 300px wide.

Payment handles

This is the most important section to complete before sending your first invoice. Without at least one payment handle, your clients will open your invoice and have no way to pay you. Venmo — enter your Venmo username without the @ symbol. Example: yourbusiness not @yourbusiness. Cash App — enter your Cash App cashtag without the symbol.Example:yourbusinessnot symbol. Example: `yourbusiness` not `yourbusiness`. Zelle — enter the email address or phone number registered with your Zelle account. You can set up one, two, or all three. Clients see all configured handles with tap-to-copy buttons on their invoice page and choose whichever they prefer. Payment notes — optional free-text field that appears below your payment handles on the invoice. Use this for additional instructions: bank transfer details, a note about your preferred method, or anything else clients need to know about paying you.

Saving changes

Changes to business settings take effect immediately for new quotes and invoices. Existing sent quotes and invoices are not affected — what your client already received stays as it was.
Your business name and at least one payment handle are the two settings that matter most before your first quote. Everything else can be filled in as you go.
