Setting up a recurring job
You can create a recurring job in two ways: When creating a new job: Enable the Recurring toggle in the JobNew form and configure the schedule before saving. From an existing job: Open any job and tap Make Recurring to convert it into the start of a recurring series.1
Enable recurrence
Toggle on Recurring in the job form, or tap Make Recurring on an existing job.
2
Set the frequency
Choose how often the job repeats: Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Every 3 weeks, Every 4 weeks, Monthly, or Custom (enter a specific number of days).
3
Set jobs ahead
Choose how many future occurrences Clarely keeps on your schedule at any time. The default is 6, and you can set between 2 and 12. As you complete jobs, the nightly cron adds new ones to keep the window full.
4
Save
Tap Save. Clarely creates the first set of occurrences immediately. New jobs are added automatically on a rolling basis as older ones are completed.
How recurring jobs work
Clarely maintains a rolling window of upcoming occurrences for each series. Rather than generating the entire schedule upfront, it keeps a set number of future jobs on your schedule at all times — determined by the jobs-ahead setting. The nightly cron tops up the window as jobs are completed. Each occurrence is a separate job in your schedule. Completing one occurrence has no effect on the rest of the series. If auto-invoice is enabled and the job is linked to an accepted quote, completing each occurrence automatically creates a draft invoice for that service period.Managing a series
Open any job in the series and tap Manage Recurrence to:- Change the frequency or custom interval
- Adjust the jobs-ahead count
- Cancel the entire series
