Field service flow
For field service businesses (cleaning, trades, maintenance), a job is created automatically the moment the client signs. You don’t need to take any action to create it — it appears in your Jobs list ready to schedule.1
Quote accepted
Client signs. You receive a notification. The quote moves to Accepted and a job is automatically created from it.
2
Schedule the job
Open the job from your Jobs list. Set the date, time, and assign a team member if needed.
3
Complete the job
Mark the job completed when the work is done. A draft invoice is created automatically the moment you do — whether it also gets sent to your client automatically depends on your Auto-send setting. See Automatic invoicing for the full picture.
4
Send the invoice
Review the draft invoice and tap Send Invoice when ready. The invoice goes to the client with your payment details.
Professional services flow
For work where no on-site job is needed — consulting, design work, or similar — an invoice is created and sent automatically when the client signs.1
Quote accepted
Client signs. An invoice is generated immediately from the accepted quote and sent to the client.
2
Collect payment
The client receives the invoice by email and pays through your configured payment handles.
In the professional services flow, the invoice is sent automatically on acceptance — there’s no manual step required. Make sure your payment handles are configured in Settings → Invoicing before using this flow.
Manual flow
For quotes where you want full control over timing — nothing happens automatically. No job, no invoice.1
Quote accepted
Client signs. The quote moves to Accepted. Nothing else happens automatically.
2
Create what you need, when you need it
Open the accepted quote and create a job, an invoice, or both, whenever you’re ready.
